(By the time you finish reading this, you’ll be convinced I really am a crazy cat lady,
but I swear, I just can't resist the silliness.)

For starters, my nine lives have included childhood in Lardsville (Manteca, CA),
where I raised goats in 4-H (!), won a Jr. High "Don't Do Drugs" art competition
and was editor of the high school yearbook. College in San Luis Obispo —
too much time on the beach, editor of another yearbook, and immersion in music.
Then time in Los Angeles waiting a few tables (I served middle-of-the-night breakfast
to Arnold Schwarzenegger!), working in publishing (books and magazines),
co-founding and art directing an alternative music + arts magazine (Fiz),
and feeding my love of music with lots of live shows.

More lives included packing up like the Beverly Hillbillies to move to Seattle,
designing catalogs for Nordstrom, and plunging head-first into the freelance-only lifestyle.
(BTW, my favorite life yet!)

So, yes, as you may have guessed ...
I don't pussy foot around!
I make deadlines. I stay on budget. I get it done the way you like it.
